Melissa is set to appear in Neverending White Lights' music video for 'The World Is Darker'. They finished filming earlier this month, I don't know when the video will be released, but will keep a look out for it, ofcourse.

Melissa contributed guest vocals to Neverending White Lights', which consists of musician Daniel Victor and guests, latest album; 'ACT II: the blood and the life eternal'. She's featured on a track called 'The World is Darker', which you can listen to on Neverending White Lights' Myspace. Thank you pumpkins boy for the headsup! While we're on this topic, I will update the discography soon.

Site work; video section

It might seem like nothing is happening here, but I'm always at work on this site even if there is little news. Lately, I've been redoing the video section. The videos can now be played directly, without you having to download them to your computer, needing any kind of player, or codecs, to play them. Most of the videos have been converted, except the live videos.

Regardless of there being a new video player, looking through all the videos again is always fun; go there!

Firecrasher's forum, madmforums.com, was closed earlier this year due to lack of interest from my side, which resulted in lack of interest from the users.

But, it's reopened now! I have installed new forum software, and designed a new look for it that will hopefully make people feel part of something again and will make them want to post.

Visions of Rock Exhibition

Melissa is part of a photography exhibition currently on show at 401 Projects in New York, called "Visions of Rock". Other contributing photographers are Bryan Adams, Lenny Kravitz, Mick Fleetwood, Patti Smith, Michael Stipe, Jakob Dylan, John Mayer, Graham Nash, Perry Farrell and Lou Reed. Auf der Maur creates album, film, comic

Former Smashing Pumpkins/Hole bassist Melissa auf der Maur has completed her second solo album, "Out Of Our Minds," and it's part of a multidisciplinary Viking-themed project that includes a short film and comic book. They will all be released under her initials, MADM (pronounced "madam").

"MADM represents an eternal female force, travelling through time and space, on the hunt for the 'heart,' be it a human's heart or the heart of the universe," auf der Maur told Lowdown in an exclusive interview. "It's almost like a myth or fairytale that is explored in all elements: the album, the film, the comic -- as well as the web. Every one of them explores it differently.

I just added some new public appearances pictures. Melissa attended the premiere of 'Scott Walker: 30 Century Man' at the Annual Tribeca Film Festival last June, and she was also at a party celebrating the arts at the Fido Spot in Toronto August 1.

Things seem pretty quiet, but beneath the surface things are stirring :) I just came across these photos of Melissa attending the 'I Turn My Camera On: Moments in Music' photography auction in N.Y.C. on April 10, 2007, where some of her photographs were under bid by the looks of it.
